Privacy Policy — Kaal Sutra

1. Information That Stays on Your Device

The app saves these items in local storage on the phone. They are not uploaded to Chrono Solutions:

• The city you select, the language, the month system, and the light or dark theme.
• Birth details you type for a kundli, a match, or a family member, including name, relationship, date, time, and place.
• Astrologer chamber details you type in Chamber Studio, such as a name, phone, email, address, and logo.
• Notes you type on a report, the active plan, report credits, and the time a video ad was last completed.
• A phone number you choose to enter at checkout, stored so a purchase can be restored on this device.

2. Location

The app needs a place to calculate the panchanga. You can pick a city from the built-in list. If you search for another place, or if you tap to use GPS, the app sends that search text or those coordinates to OpenStreetMap Nominatim so it can return a place name. That request is used to fill the city field. We do not keep a location history.

GPS runs only when you ask for it. You can refuse the Android location permission and still use a city you select yourself.

3. Ads

On the Google Play version, Free and Astro tiers show ads through Google AdMob. Those ads can include a banner and a rewarded video. The rewarded video unlocks Kundli, Family, and Festivals for two hours. Ad-Free, Astro Pro, and Astro Plus do not show these ads.

Google may receive an advertising identifier, device information, and an IP address to deliver and measure ads. Where the law requires a choice, the app asks before personalized ads are requested. You can reset or delete the Android advertising ID in your phone settings.

4. Purchases

Digital plans and report passes are sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment. Chrono Solutions does not receive your card number. Google shares a purchase receipt with the app so the plan can be turned on for this device. Play's own privacy policy covers the payment.

5. Sharing from the App

When you tap share, the phone's share sheet sends the image or text you chose to the app you pick, such as WhatsApp. That send happens only after you confirm it.

6. Children

Kaal Sutra is not directed at children under 13. A family calendar can hold birth details of people in your household, including children, because you typed them. Those details stay on your device. Add another person's details only if you are allowed to.

7. How Long Information Is Kept

On-device information remains until you change it, clear the app storage, or uninstall. Purchase records are kept by Google under Play's rules. Ad measurement records are kept by Google under AdMob's rules.

8. Your Choices

• Use a city from the list instead of GPS.
• Buy Ad-Free, Astro Pro, or Astro Plus to remove ads.
• Clear app storage or uninstall to delete on-device information.
• Email us to ask what this policy covers, or to ask for a correction. Because we do not hold an account copy of your charts, deletion on our side is not a separate database erase. Clearing the app on your phone removes the copy the app made.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Kaal Sutra evolves. Changes will be indicated by an updated effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
